Raydon's Virtual Combat Convoy Technology, powered by Raydon's BARE family of products.

Introducing Raydon's VCCT.

Don Ariel, Raydon's President and CEO, introduces the Virtual Combat Convoy Technology demonstration to over 20 PEO-STRI representatives and subject matter experts. VCCT is built on BARE, BAREView and Raydon's HMMWV level2, which has been touring the US for two months to rave reviews.

View from the AAR station

The AAR station features Raydon's BAREView product, an FBCB2 system, and OTB V1 logger / player.

One of the Level2 HMMWV (advanced combat) trainers

The level2 HMMWV trainer includes a driver station (ftont), with 3 60 degree FOV LCD monitors, and a gunner station with a head mounted, 1024 x 768 display with headtracker. The gunner has a turret ring and machine gun mockup on a pintal mount, both of which track in the scene.

Another closeup of a level2 HMMWV trainer

This view clearly shows the tracking of the turret ring and pntal mount. As you can see on the repeater monitor on the right, the occupant is covering the rear of the convoy.

An M16 mockup with visuals

The M16 mockup uses a head mounted display. The gun is displayed in the scene when the rifleman holds the butt-mounted switch to his body.
